here is our lovely view from the window and K blogging this morning

In the city that doesn't sleep...

we didn't either. Nor did the someone in the room next door.

But we're up, making coffee and getting ready for our first day. The hotel shuttle will take us to the station for E train into the city. But first we'll partake of the full, free breakfast at the lovely JFK Mariott Fairfield Inn. Nice. Clean. Accommodating. Next stop, The Roosevelt. $2 gets you any subway ride for as long as it takes. Or we could spring for a cab -- $55 plus toll. We're taking the subway.

the only bad thing i have to say...
the air pressure of the plane was really bad, my ears still haven't unpopped themselves.
